Instructions:

Step 1:

Print out the appropriate template onto your Image Transfer Paper ( Moms Help_words.pdf   Grandmas Help_words.pdf   Teachers Help_words.pdf ) **Special Note: Be careful to follow the instruction sheet included in the packaging. If you’re using the Light Image Transfer Paper make sure to print the template in reverse by selecting mirror image from your inkjet printer settings. On Dark Image Transfer Paper make sure image is not mirrored or flipped when printing.

Step 2:

Using washable markers have the children create flowers with their thumbprints. They do this by covering the bottom of their thumb with a washable marker then blotting it on an extra sheet of scrap paper before pressing it down on the Image Transfer Paper to create the flower petals. They may need to reapply and blot several times to create each flower. Before creating a new colored flower have them clean their thumbs before they apply the new marker. Finish each flower with a green marker for the stems and leaves.

Step 3:

Finish by filling in the words on the Image Transfer Sheet with whatever colored markers they choose.

Step 4:

With scissors trim inside oval guideline on template. Then, following the instruction sheet in the packaging iron Image Transfer Sheet onto your canvas bag.

**Special Note: Wash bag separately prior to using as bleeding may occur. If bleeding occurs rewash bag before drying. After first wash, no special instructions are necessary -- wash according to manufacturer’s specifications. Iron normally -- transferred images will not stick to the iron.
