Making paper lanterns is a fun, creative way to decorate your room all year round.

| 1.Lay construction paper vertically. Fold bottom left corner to top edge. Take bottom right corner to meet first fold. |

| 2.Unfold both corners. |
 |
| 3.Fold top left corner down to bottom edge and fold top right corner to meet first fold. Unfold both corners. |

| 4.Fold corners in half from point to point. |
 |
| 5.Unfold both corners. |
 |
| 6.Fold corners from point to point on opposite side and then unfold. |
 |
| 7.Continue folding corners at half way points throughout the entire sheet. When finished folding, turn the sheet over. |
 |
| 8.Make horizontal creases at all intersections. The folding is now complete. Bend the sheet of paper around so the diagonal folds pop out. |
 |
9.When you have the lantern shape formed, tape the inside to hold the lantern together.

10.With a hole puncher, punch two sides opposite of each other and tie yarn through the holes.
