Snowman Picture Frame

Hang it on the tree, mail it out or keep it for decoration around the house. These cute Snowman Picture Frames are great for the Winter Holidays.

 

Materials Needed:

  • 1/8" Hole Punch
  • 3-1/2" x 4" Picture
  • Transparent Tape
  • Ruler
  • Scissors
  • Glue

Instructions:


1. Print pattern (Snowman_Pattern.pdf) and copy onto SunWorks® White Construction Paper. for the front and cut one more pattern out of the same paper for the back. Note: Cut oval out of the front pattern only! Tape picture to the inside of the front frame. Holding the front and back together punch 1/8" holes around snowman where indicated.

2. To sew the front and back together you will need 5 feet of White Trait-tex® 3-Ply Heavy Rug Yarn. For easier sewing use Pacon’s Plastic Large-Eyed Needles or wrap a small piece of tape around the end of the yarn.

3. Out of SunWorks® Black Construction Paper cut one snowman hat and seven 1/4" squares for the eyes and mouth. Cut one snowman nose out of SunWorks® Orange Construction Paper. Glue all of the pieces to the snowman picture frame. For his scarf wrap 2 feet of Red Trait-tex® 4-Ply Jumbo Roving Yarn around his neck twice and tie with a double knot.
