Paper Bead Necklace

Great for all ages. Teach kids the concept of pattern and sequence with our Fadeless® Safari Prints Paper and Wood Beads.

Materials Needed:

  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Pencil

Instructions:

1.Cut It: Begin by cutting long acute triangles out of Fadeless® Safari Prints Paper, about 1 inch wide at the widest part of the triangle. Repeat this process until desired amount of beads are cut.

2.Create It: Place a strip on the workplace with the colored side face down. Take a pencil and place on the wide end of the triangle and roll paper over pencil until it is completely rolled up. Place a small drop of glue at the point of the triangle to hold the bead's shape. Remove from pencil and repeat process until all beads are made.

3.Cut Yarn: Cut a strip of yarn to desired length to fit around your neck loosely.

4.String It: Choose complementing beads and lay out a pattern with newly created paper beads. String beads and then tie off ends when necklace is complete.
